My Best Friend of 24 Years!

Im getting a jumpstart on my blog today (I will write another blog later)!!! My First blog of the day goes to my brother! Hes my best friend in the whole world (other than my husband of course). Him and I have been through more together in my life than anyone else! DUH! HAHA!! 24 years ago today my brother came into my life! It hasnt always been the GREATEST of times.. Matter of fact for a while my brother and I practically HATED each other. Selfish reasons on my part.. LOL Didnt want an annoying kid around when I was older! We have been through losses of family members, parents divorcing and remarrying (more than once), we have both lost a sibling. Our dear sweet Carly. We miss you sweet little girl. Losses of grandparents, great grandparents and friends. Our weddings, Births of new siblings and even our own children. All in all we have been there for each other... hes so GREAT!! I am very blessed to have such an amazing man for my brother! Broski I love you very much broski!!! All that we have been through I am so glad in the end you are still my best friend!!! I love you ALWAYS! Love your sistercakes/sistershine! =D

Days Without Daddy

So many days have gone by since my babies daddy left.. I know he misses them so much and they miss him. BigPapa is constantly telling me how much it hurts him to look at pictures but makes him happy at the same time. Hurts to know how much he is missing. Not being able to be here for them when they need their daddy. Its hard for him.. I know its hard for everyone but I mean.... I can not even begin to fathom what he goes through every day wondering and thinking about his babies. Wishing he could touch their chubby little cheeks or just hear their little giggles even to ehar them cry and hold them. I post pictures constantly of our beautiful children so for one he can see them and watch them grow up even in pictures. I try to involve him as much as I can. He is an amazing father. As bad as it hurts time does NOT stop for us. It moves on and children grow whether we want them to or not. And how ours have grown so much just in the short (HAH!) time that he has been gone. I always make sure they see their daddy every day.. whether on skype or we look at pictures. Days like today make me think back to when he was home last spring. It would be sunny and rainy and we would be outside playing and when it would rain we would all snuggle up in his big comfy chair or in the bed and watch movies till they fall asleep and he would look over at me after looking at each baby and smile at me... and in that moment... the moment he is looking into my eyes and smiles I KNOW that without him I have no idea where I would be or how my kids would be. Since hes left the oldest daughter has gone to kindergarten, rode the bus, started gymnastics, our son started preschool, will start t-ball soon and has about 50 hair cuts and has probably grew about a foot, our baby went from 4 teeth to a mouthful, turned 1, started walking/running/terrorizing, and talking. Each such big stepping stones in a little kids life. SUUUURE they wont remember but we will. Never a day passes by that our children doesnt know that their daddy is a hero and he is in the army in Afghanistan. So I asked the oldest 2 what is their favorite thing about their daddy, Babygirl says She loves him, Bubba says he loves him THIIIISSSS Much and stretches his arms way out! TOO CUTE!! I love that their daddy is special because they love him and he is!  Not too much longer and they will have their daddy back and we will all be put back together again!! I cant wait! MANY children are surrendering their time with their parents so that they may fight for our freedom. Say an extra prayer tonight for these children so that they may know how much their mommy or daddy love them. If you ever meet them, be sure to give them an extra squeeze from that deployed soldier. God knows they need all the love they can get during their parents absence! God Bless our troops and their families all over the world! Oh we have also added a new family member to our beautiful family. An super cute full blooded Golden Retriever named Boon!! He has been AMAZING with the kiddos and We all just love him.

2011 Gatornationals

I had the BEST time at the Gatornationals... It was so much fun! I love spending time with my brother and my son! I got to even spend a lil time with my Mikey!! I love that wee man!! All in all it was a great weekend. I got sunburnt... that lasted all of a day and walked alot. Bubba got his first taste/smell of nitro! MMMMM Burns so good! We laughed at all the idiots standing right behind the motor as they were primering it.... MORONS! It was a great fun filled day. I miss my husband like crazy but I wasnt gonna let my brother down and be a downer especially since his was his suprise birthday present! =) I know Im such an awesome sister!! Hope yall enjoy the FEW pics I posted. Have plenty more on my fb but these are the ones I like the most of the cars!! Yall have a GREAT day!!!

Alright Folks, time to get a little more upbeat and stuff!! This weekend will be my 3rd time going to the NHRA Gatornationals and I am SUPER STOKED!! A little background my step dad got me turned on to Drag Racing and not just ANY drag racing NHRA drag racing. Yeah sure I love "run what you brung" racing but something about that Nitro in those Top Fuel cars smelllls sooo good... So its gonna be HOT, and my lungs will be filled with Nitro fuel, and my nose fill with the smell of turkey legs, my eyes will be burning from the smoke from the burnouts and the fuel but OH MY GOD ITS GONNA BE AWESOME!! And so worth it! I can NOT wait!! I will be going this year with my brother and my son!! So here is a little sneek peek at what my weekend is going to look like!!! =D =D
