Sick, Sick and Twilight!

Okay so I have definitly been under the weather since I got back from Florida.. I woke up one morning feeling like crap and I just KNEW I was gonna have ear problems and sure enough later that afternoon my ears started hurting and got REALLY stuffy! AGAIN! This is like the 50th time in 3 years!! SUCKS! They thing I have chronic fluid behind my eardrums and the only way they seem to think it will get fixed is if I get my tonsils and adenoids removed. Ok no big deal If I can get the Army to let my husband stay home long enough for me to have the procedure done! LoL! Anyways! So I was just gonna take some sinus meds and hope it went away... that maybe it wasnt an infection. Well yesterday my Allies eyes started getting red and puffy and then the green eye boogars showed up!! CRAP! PINKEYE! Not even 4 hours later Samanthas eye was doing the same thing.. Bless their hearts. So first thing this morning I hauled our butts to the doctor.. Conjuctvitis is not something you wanna play around with. So I get there and we all get seen get meds, do some shopping, grabbed a bite to eat and came home. While the kids ate I skyped with my love for a bit then it was nap time. He was soooo sweet to let me lay down with the kids and nap with them. Course he was off to bed early so I could talk to him tonight. Well as soon as we got up from a nap Little James had the eye boogars.. HOLY CROW THATS STUFF TRAVELS FAST!!! So I put eye drops in all the babies eyes. Ordered pizza for dinner and got the kids to bed. That brings me to now. Sitting here talking to my love on Skype and blogging. I think Im becoming a blog addict. My hubbs was away from his internet location so I havent been able to talk to SEE him for about a week (Which is only like a day in military time so technically thats not long at all. Maybe in the Civilian world but as an army spouse a week aint so bad). So Anyways! I have been reading the Twilight Saga. YES YES I KNOW!! Lol it took me forever to actually pick up the book my bestie let me borrow buuuut I did and Im hooked. I started reading it beginning of last week and I am bout to start the 4th and final book. When I am finished with that I will watch the 3 movies that have come out. :-) Maybe I can con James into watching them with me when he comes home!! HEHE! Well see. Anyways, so most of the fan base of Twilight is separated into two teams. Team Edward (Hes the Vampire) and Team Jacob (hes the warewolf). I am, as Bella would call herself, Switzerland. I am neutral. HOWEVER I am leaning more toward Jacob because he reminds me much of my husband. Turn Ons Big, strong, muscular, warm, furry, young and hes a mechanic Turn offs are  hes a little immature in the beginning and kinda outspoken, like in an annoying way. But he is Starting to grow up so we will see! What I like about Edward is his 18th century attitude, the eloquent way he speaks and the sweet way he talks to Bella.. Its almost nauseating sometimes but its sweet! I dont like him becase hes VERY Overprotective in the beginning. I dont wanna tell too much without spoiling for those who havent read it yet. :-) Which by the way you should. Anyways! Thats pretty much my update for today. I will leave you to your thoughts now and Im off to chat with my love and give him my undivided attention!  Have a wonderful night all!!! <3

A Million Feelings!!

I haven't vent on my blog in a long time so I'm way overdue. But I figure tonight might be a good night for it. I got alot of emotions going on (on top of your typical deployment emotions). When I went and seen my brother and them in Florida. I was overwhelmed. Happy, excited, sad, jealous, resentful, and guilty all that wrapped up in one person CANNOT be healthy. Not be healthy at all. OK so the more understanding feelings like happiness and excitement is self explanatory, the others yeah I'm gonna explain. First off I was sad because I didn't make it in time to be right there with her when she had Michael like she wanted me to. It sucked!! But I got past that. Jealous, well I guess that can be pretty self explanatory when you think about it. My husband is gone and I am doing the whole single mom during deployment thing and right there in front of my face is my brothers happy little family. All of them together. Resentful because Michael isn't my only niece or nephew. The other, well, their mother and I just don't see eye to eye and that makes for a difficult relationship all around. I resent the fact that one of them claim to have a relationship as close as my brother and I when in fact that is VERY far fetched (which I find quite humerous). There relationship is nowhere near the aptitude of the one of my brother and I. Him and I are best friends, they are merely strangers. Therefore we aren't quite as close to them as we will be Michael and his parents as I said in the previous post. Now the final feeling I stated Ah yes, the guilt. Guilty because I was jealous and had no right to be (I have a happy little family too just apart right now), and also because I was so overwhelmingly happy for my brother and sister in law and their new addition and James wasn't here.. How is it possible to be overflowing with happiness when my husband is sooooo far far away. I also thought about all the things James is missing out on. Tears my heart apart because there is so much and he knows that. I take lots and lots of pics to show him (its not the same but hopefully that HELPS). I know I shouldn't feel guilty for being happy. And like a friend told me James cant expect me to be miserable the whole time hes gone. Ive been avoiding people (family mostly) and I am not 100% sure why. I do know I get tired of hearing them talk of a "new" relationship in the family. Really don't wanna hear all the mushy puppy love right now. I also hate putting on a charade and ACT like I'm OK when I am around them when most of the time I am not. I'm not depressed by any means but I'm not gonna smile and laugh on the outside when I'm not feeling it on the inside.  My mom can read me like the cover of a book and know almost exactly what I'm feeling inside so I have not shunned away from her. THAT my friends would be a task all on its own. As far as missing James. I'm missing him terribly. I am on the downhill yet I feel like I am in the bottom of a hole looking up the slippery slope with his homecoming waiting at the top. I am forgetting things that mean the world to me. How my hand fit perfectly in his, how I felt safe when I was in his arms, the butterflies I got when he placed his hand on my thigh as we drove down the road, the way his laugh lit up my world, the joy I felt watching him play with our children, the way his kisses taste, and the passion when we made love. Its amazing the little things we unknowingly take advantage of are the biggest things we miss when we dont have them readily accessible to us. I miss my husband so much. We are halfway there. Gonna put on my happy face and continue to be strong and care for his children and his home while he is away and TRY to patiently wait for his return home! Thanks for readin!

Michael Anthony Parr

Well as I'm sure all of you know by now if you are my Face book friends my awesome brother and his sweet wife had their little boy Thursday evening at 6:16. I got a text from my brother probably about 11:30 as I was leaving the Marshall Family Y telling me she was being induced because of her pregnancy induced high blood pressure and the doc didn't want to wait any longer. So naturally RUSH mode came into effect as I know she wanted me to be there with her while she had the baby. I rushed home threw some things into bags grabbed kids some snacks and drinks went and picked up some lunch for me and Allison, picked up Samantha and James from school, swung by my moms house and picked her up and stopped to get them lunch and then we were off.. We left about 2pm and drove stopping a few times to let the kiddos potty and things like that! then we get a message at 5:45 saying that they are going in to give Ashlee her epidural and I didn't hear anything back from my source for 30 mins! I was soooooo worried I wasn't gonna make it there soon enough.. (Not to mention I was flying, I got out of a ticket. 90 in a 70mph, pulled a smokey and the bandit... he clocked the car before me and me and the one after me. before he was able to pull out because of all the traffic I was able to slow down and get between two cars and he drove right past me getting the car in front of me and another cop getting the one after me LoL) Anyways so 30 Min's later my source told me that we had a baby!! I'm like whaaaaaaat!! I was so distraught I couldn't be there.. I wanted to so bad. Anyways enough of that! So little Mikey was born Jan 6th, 2011 at 6:16 pm 7lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches long. So I managed to drive the rest of the way. When we arrived at the hospital Ashlee's best friend and her hubby was there. My brother greeted me in the waiting room. Grinning from ear to ear.. He is a happy papa! So after my mom went in and seen Michael I went in. I almost cried.. NOW I know how my brother feels about my kids. I fell in love with that little man. I love him like he was my own. It was so overwhelming I almost cried. I am an aunt OFFICIALLY. Sure I got other kids that call me Aunt Jen but I'm not anywhere close to them or their parents like I am Michael and his parents. Mikey is my Nephew. I will be there for him when I can. Hopefully get to watch him grow up and play with my kids. Uncle James is proud to have a nephew too! His sister has a daughter but we rarely see them and again WE aren't very close to either of them. So he is definitely excited to come home and have a little boy to play with! So I spent the weekend with them. They got to come home Saturday which was great. Luckily on Saturday night we were able to spend some one on one time together while the kids were sleeping. We went for a walk and smoked our celebratory cigars and we chatted. It was nice! Felt like home. (And I pray it will be one day) I was going to leave on Sunday but decided to wait because of the pending bad weather we were supposed to get here in Augusta. So I ended coming back on Tuesday. I cried when I left like I always do. Nick and Ashlee are two of the very few closest people I have to me right now and it hurts every time I leave him. He is my best friend of all time.. Nothing like a brothers hug. Anyways so now I'm back home to the regular grind until the kiddos next break then its back to Florida I go! Next up my sisters lil man Clay!! YAY!!! Cant wait to see his handsome lil face too!! Now I'm gonna leave you with some pics of my weekend in Florida Welcome my little nephew (the first one) into the world!!! On another note Jan 6th, 2005 was the day that my beloved baby sister Carly passed away. She was definitly in heaven planning this all along. Not a day to grieve but to celebrate the brief time she was with us and the new life that has come into the world!!! Thank you My sweet angel in Heaven!! Your big sis misses you so much and loves you dearly!

If Your Lucky Enough to be Irish.....

Ok in the spirit of my newly re-vamped blog I thought I would write a little blog about my favorite place on earth besides in the arms of my love. So while you read listen to the song as well. The Pogues are a very popular group in Ireland. Song plays on P.S. I love you! I love this song!! Its my song for my Big Papa! The song that follows is called The Butterfly by the Celtic Woman (Beautiful just beautiful). So Even though I have never been to Ireland I do plan on going one day. James and I plan on going when we are a little older and sightseeing. Depending on how much we love it (which Im sure we will ALOT) we may even decide to relocate there!! HEHE! We shall see. We are both of Irish heritage.. Im not sure how much for him but I know its a good bit for me. Mostly on my fathers side of the family! We are a VERY proud Irish family. Doesnt show in me physically like it does my brother but I definitly got the blood of the Irish running through my veins. Nothing wrong with that.. Like my title starts If your lucky enough to be Irish then your lucky enough. I love Celtic music. I am hoping to see Celtic Woman next year :-) My brother can probably pass as a full blooded Irishman. Blonde hair that fades into a red goatee. People accuse him of dying it. When my brother retires we are hoping to open a family Irish Pub and restaurant next door. Nick and James will run the pub, Mikey and Bubba will be the bouncers, the girls will help as waitresses and servers at both places, Ashlee will run the restaurant and I am stuck being the manager. My brother says Im the manager because he knows I wont have any hard feelings kicking the whiners outta the pub!! HAHA. So yeah anyways I am really hoping to get over there to visit. James "stopped-in" on his way to Afghanistan but didnt have much of a chance to sightsee! Kinda had to stay at the airport. SUCKS! He got me a beautiful keychain from there that looks like my tattoo! I love it! I am hoping to do a Celtic theme in my living room. Dark greens and Celtic crosses and antique celtic accessories!! Wish me well! Thanks for reading about my dream trip and a little about my heritage. I will leave you with some facts about Ireland and some pictures of this AMAZING country I ran across online! And a peek at my tattoo!! Is tú mo ghrá (I Love You in Gaelic)

Is fheàrr teine beag a gharas na teine mòr a loisgeas.
The little fire that warms is better than the big fire that burns
Gerard Butler is NOT Irish he is Scottish (too bad but hes still HOTNESS)
The original Guinness Brewery in Dublin has a 9,000 year lease on it's property, at a perpetual rate of 45 Irish pounds per year.
Celtic rock group the Pogues were originally called "Pogue Mahone," which translates into "kiss my a**" in Gaelic.
The longest place name in Ireland is Muckanaghederdauhaulia, in County Galway. The original seven “Celtic Nations” are: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Cornwall, Brittany (in France) and Galicia (in Spain).
Leaves on a 4-leaf clover mean faith, hope, luck and love.

The hands of the ring are shown holding the heart and the hands denote friendship and togetherness, the heart itself signifies love and the crown in the claddagh ring stands for loyalty. Note the title for my entire blog. "With these hands I give you my heart, and Crown it with my love. The 2 clovers signify my children (I gotta add another I know).

It is generally considered that orange represents the Protestant minority, green represents the Catholic majority, and the white stands for the hope for peace and unity between them.

The national symbol of Ireland is the Celtic harp, not the shamrock.

Baileys Irish Cream which was launched in Ireland in the early seventies, is now the most popular liqueur in the world.

Guinness... To trip to Ireland would be complete without sampling a pint of the black stuff! It's said that no matter where you go in the world, only in Ireland will you be served the most velvety, and creamiest pint of the "black stuff".

Good Riddance 2010:: Hellooo 2011

Me & My New Years Date! (till he passed out LOL)

Ok so last year was not a total dread. I mean I had some great times with my families and stuff like that. Unforunatly it was the year that my husband left for his deployment and that  is what sticks out the most. Ive learned alot from last year. Dont sweat the small stuff, dont try so hard to please people, love unconditionally, and in all things just be happy. James and I have had tough times, good times, REALLY tough times and REALLY good times. I used to dwell on the tough times and the past and that made for REALLY tough times. I have come to realize that I may not live the life others would but this my friend is my fairy tale. I have my knight in dirty camo, my castle thats just big enough for my little family, my children who are beautiful and run rampant all the time, and I have my health. Everything else that is amazing is a bonus. Those 4 things are very essential to me. And because they are I am going forward into this new year and workin on improving my relationship with each of these 4 neccesities. Everything else can fall into place but I feel like this is where my roots are, these 4 things is where my life starts! My relationship with my knight has never been more amazing. I have never been more in love. And the little things we took for granted well NO MORE! Ive never been one to have a spotless house or even clean for that matter. But its my home and I shouldnt let it fall by the waistside. I intend on improving my house cleaning skills by doing it more often. LoL! If you know me ther are many other things Id rather do than clean. Go running around town with my mom, playing with my kids, skyping with my love the list goes on and on but from here on out Im going to try and organize my house and my schedule and maintain an orderly home. My children, wow, where to start with that. No im not a terrible mom but I need to start putting my foot down with the discipline and I need to start doing more HANDS on with them other than playing with them and wrestling around with them on the floor! LoL! Helping teach them to read, write, color in the lines for Bubba, and color ON THE PAPER for Allison! And my health. Well Im not suuuper unhealthy but I could definitly take better care. I have started my New Years diet to lose some weight and get into shape and feel better for my husband and my kids but mostly me. When Im not happy with myself its hard for me to let others be happy with me. My mom was diagnosed with diabetes this year and I know I can prevent that by taking better care of myself. And in each of these it takes time to adjust and reevaluate thing things than can be set aside and the things that cant. I am hoping that each of these aspects in my life will improve. So many things to look forward to in 2011. The main one being my husband returning home from his deployment to Afghanistan, welcoming my two nephews Michael and Clay, me being more healthy, having a more organized and orderly home AND children. I will need all the support from my family and friends as I can get. And I expect to get nothing less because I have amazing family and friends. Looking forward to letting 2010 be a memory and 2011 being one of the most amazing years in my life!! Hope everyone had a GREAT new years and were safe!! God Bless! (Here are some pics that I got from my husband thus far in Afghanistan, Enjoy!)
