Yes I am a day behind... as ususal!!!! Really sucks I cant stay on top of something but yesterday I had my nephews birthday and well.. I was kind of busy... I will write a post on that later! So here goes... in light of my fun day with my lil man! Here is Something (one of the many) I adore!! (Oh and its a lil sneek peek from my Monkeys first Birthday party!! Cake was nummy!!)

Photo Challenge Day 1

A lil something I ran across on Mrs. Mama Hens blog and I thought it was a fun and neat thing to do!! So here are the days and things I have to post!

So my photo for day one is ME!!! 

I love the sound....

of no kids screaming but love hearing my brother and husband yelling at the TV while playing Call of Duty MW3! How weird is that? Anyways, seriously I have been Slacking super bad!!! With church stuff picking back up and the holidays are over I think I am running and doing more than I did during the holidays. Kids are back in school which I am soooo grateful for!! =) Mama needed a lil quiet time.. When you have three kids and then you are down to one thats a QUIET time! My brother and sister and nephew are in town and I am super stoked to have them here! We have been having a blast. Tomorrow a girls night.. Much needed, overdue, girls ONLY, no kids mamas night out! Dinner and something planned who knows but no drinking and dancing. One, I have quit drinking and the dancing well... considering 3 of the 6 women who will be there are pregnant probably not a good idea which helps me on the no drinking thing. Of course my sis in law says FINALLY a chance where I am not pregnant and have an auto DD I decide to quit drinking. LMBO! Its all good.. I love my girls and we can have a blast without being under the influence of alcohol! I am proud to say that my husband has also quit drinking. YAY FOR US!! The best way to have a good impact on your childrens future is to be a good role model. Its a new year so new things are gonna start happening. Hoping hubby gets an awesome job that he has interviewed for, I got a job offer to be a preschool teacher at a private preschool and more church stuff. I am hoping to get more involved in the goings on of our church. Why be a part of something when you do not know the inner workings of it right? I am back onto my bible studies. Gripped by the Greatness of God. Oh yeah! I love James MacDonalds bible studies. I did one in the fall and I was so convicted and my life changed dramatically. Family life? It has been great. Hubbs is still working on getting things officiallized and taken care of with the VA, my school aged kids are trying to get back into the swing of things and the learning, and my youngest well she is enjoying having the house to herself. Boon and Bella are adapting to each other. He tends to be a little rough as most dads are with their girls when they are playing around but i think at the end of the day they are VERY happy to have each other. My nephew turned one last Saturday and I am proud Auntie to say that they will be having his birthday party at my house this weekend! YAY! I am so glad I still get to be a part of that lil mans life. There was some question as to if some people were going to attend because it is at my home but I am praying God will allow them to be here for my brother and his family on this very special day in light of the differences people may or may not have with me. I am not an intentional cruel person and I mean well... sometimes I get in my feelings but hey were all human. So I will leave you with some pics.. not much.. most of the time I get caught up enjoying the moments than snapping photos of them (which I should because I love it). I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far and again I promise I will do better blogging! =)

Sweetest Christmas Present

A surprise Christmas present from my bestist friend/sis and her hubby totally turned my semi bahumbug and sad spirits around. It was hard taking in all the pups then letting them all go. I had puppy fever. BAD!!! But when the day came to let them all go back to their mamas house I was pleasantly surprised when i was told one of the pups was mine to actually keep! My favorite one too!!! :-) Isnt my bestist the greatest! :-) So here she is newest addition to out little family Blondie Bella. And no Bella is NOT from Twilight my husband named her and he hates that movie! So now we have Boon and Bella! Yay! Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! Mine has already been amazing. My family is together this Christmas! Looking forward to 2012! Big things a comin! Yay!

Playing Catch Up!

Okay so I am playing catch up now since I have not written in a while. Life has been pretty busy. While hubby is finishing up his time out at the Wounded Warrior Battalion I am spending a lot more time with my best friend. I love her and her whole family they are good people. I have to admit I am glad that hubby is finally getting this stuff behind him but I will miss him being home. His civilian job does not allow him to be home that often in the evenings with us so I will miss things like this...

So we did our traditional put up ornaments on my in laws tree I snapped a few photos of them playing around and they made a gingerbread house. Figured I would share some with you.

Thursday Throwback & Special Guest.

So I reluctantly get up this morning even though I would have loved to just stay in my nice warm bed. I have gone back from Christmas music... just doesnt fit the feel of my blog posts at the moment maybe closer to Christmas I will change it back. I have had so many things going through my head.. First.. I cannot believe how quickly my children are growing. Babygirl practically gets ready for school by herself... Its really sad to think that one day she wont need me. =( Of course my son cheered me up with a special guest we had at our table this morning for breakfast. As I look up from my tea I see....

Mr. Potato head staring at me with his tongue sticking out at me! LOL! What a silly kid.. But I did get a wonderful laugh out of it. Yesterday I was finally moving mine and hubbys letters from the little shoe box I kept them in to this beautiful keepsake box I had made for us.

Isnt it gorgeous! I love it.. Of course when I was putting stuff in it I realized at some point I am going to have to have another one made. 8 years of memories between hubby and I and its already full. We have many many more years together so yeah another one will be in the mix. I love Tracys work. It was a nice stroll down memory lane and OMG I was tiny back then! Sigh.. oh how I wish.. I gotta get back on a diet and working out.. James came home and my working out has continued in a sense but the dieting gone out the window! Starting hardcore on working on potty training Buttercup. I wanna get her out of pull ups by the first of the year. She turned 2 in October so it shouldnt be too hard. Shes old enough. Anyways! Thats all my rambling for today.
